Our current wellness challenge, NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis), is going strong until September 30th! If you haven’t joined us yet, start now – it’s not too late. NEAT refers to daily activity that isn’t a formal workout but that still burns calories, from yard work to preparing a meal. Read a great article about NEAT activities here.
To participate in this challenge, complete three NEAT activities each day and fill in the bubbles on the tracker sheet. Turn in the tracker sheet to Kayla Barnhardt, 2nd floor GVC, to be entered in a drawing to win a garden bag and tools! Additionally, if you haven’t yet received this year’s free Wellness at Work t-shirt, participate in the challenge and turn in your tracker sheet with your t-shirt size written on it to receive yours.
