Domestic Abuse Project (DAP) in Viroqua is hiring a PT or FT Case Manager.
As a Case Manager with the Domestic Abuse Project, you will provide resources, counseling, and support to victims of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse for persons in Vernon County.
What are the primary responsibilities of this Case Manager position?
- Provide individual and group services, provide advocacy services in the following areas: social, legal, financial, educational, housing, and employment.
- Work collaboratively with appropriate community agencies.
- Work effectively and non-defensively with a variety of personalities. Be aware of and sensitive to the cultural diversity of clients, co-workers, and other persons in the performance of job duties.
- Recruit, train and supervise volunteers as needed.
- Work with and guide the Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) in Vernon County.
- Maintain client files in accordance with agency policies and governing standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and other agency meetings as requested.
- Remain current in required hours of annual staff development.
- Provide monthly or quarterly reports, manage appropriate agreements and contracts.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position as assigned by supervisor including PQI related chart reviews and reports.
