Nextiva has officially been installed at all FCC locations! Moving forward, please use Nextiva. (You are more than welcome to delete the Wildix app!)
Updates
- Our direct dial numbers will not be in Nextiva officially for about two weeks or so. Until then, all calls will be forwarded from Wildix into Nextiva
- Given that our calls are forwarding in from Wildix, they will not show the caller’s Caller ID, they will just say “Family & Children’s Center”
- Unless they are an internal contact (dialing extension to extension)
- This is temporary and will change once all of our numbers are in Nextiva
- If you choose to import your contacts, please enter them as private
- If they are entered as public, all employees will be able to see those contacts and they cannot be made private unless you delete and recreate
- Importing your contacts is not required
- Team Chat is unavailable on the Mobile App at this time, but you are able to use that service on the Desktop App
- Continue faxing through Wildix until further notice
- Texting is not available but should be by the end of the month
- Instructional guides for the desktop app, mobile app and physical desk phone will be provided on the Depot under Resources > Nextiva Resources by the end of the day on Monday, February 5th.
