Nextiva Implementation | What to Expect

 

We are less than a week away from the beginning of implementation week! To ensure you are all a bit more prepared, please see the updates below:

What to Expect:

  • Two technicians from FiveStar will be arriving at each location on their scheduled day around 9:00 am
  • They will begin by unboxing the physical phones and assisting with getting them all set up
    • During this time, they will also show you how to use the devices > please watch this video prior to them coming to your location to make this process a bit easier
    • They will also test them for you – just in case we need to switch out your device with a new one
  • Once all physical phones are hooked up and ready to go, they will begin training those using the Desktop App and Mobile App
    • Conference Rooms have been reserved for these trainings – please see times and rooms for your location below
    • If you are planning to use the texting feature, but have a desk phone, we recommend you attend this training
  • We will then begin forwarding the calls to Nextiva
    • Please note: Your number in Nextiva will not show as you direct dial number for the first few weeks, as the porting of our numbers takes about a week and a half to complete.
    • Do not give out the number provided in Nextiva, as this is only a temporary number
  • Once testing is finalized, you are all set to use Nextiva!

As a reminder, until we have our texting procedure completed and approved, texting will not be available. Rest assured, it should be available sometime in February!

When will FiveStar be coming to your location?:

Monday, January 29th: GVC

Training: John Burgess at 11:00 am & 12:00 pm

Tuesday, January 30th: Winona Locations

Training: Merchants Conference Room from 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm & 2:00 pm

Wednesday, January 31st: Viroqua

Training: Viroqua Conference Room from 11:00 am, 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm

Thursday, February 1st: Black River Falls and Weston Facility

Training: The techs will meet with you individually or as a group to go over the system

Friday, February 2nd: Additional day to resolve any issues and provide training for those who missed the other days

Training: Legacy from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
