Effectively Serving the LGBTQ+ Community

Presenter: Amney Harper, Ph.D: University of Wisconsin – OshkoshContent to include: foundational information, pronouns, definitions, basic terminology in the LGBTQ community, and tips for effective engagement (first 2 hours); followed by developmental identity and mental health considerations (last 2 hours).

Credit: 4 hours of NBCC continuing education will be provided to those who complete the webinar.

A Comprehensive Response to Socio-Cultural Trauma

Content to include: an overview of several forms of socio-cultural trauma, including race-based trauma, and what a comprehensive trauma-informed response to children & families would look like.
