We have been exploring ways we can recognize and reward our people for the challenging work you all do, and this had included everything from compensation – including pay – to fun, culture building activities to recruiting and retention efforts. We know you all have been thinking about this as well since we have received a Speak Out on the topic. We recently shared that the recruiting and retention brainstorming group will meet again later this week and if you are interested in attending the link was in the Depot post or you can contact Rich directly with ideas you may have. Although a number of things are swirling around right now, one thing which we are getting ready to roll out is our milestone program.
We believe there should be a link between the number of years that people stay at FCC and what we can do to recognize that tenure. In addition, we felt we should do something special on an annual basis for those who have been with FCC the longest. In the next month you should see a formal announcement of our milestone program, and our plan to include everyone as we begin with a “catch up” year. If you have completed 1 year, 5 years or 11 years you will be included in the first year as we get this off the ground. We will also unveil a 15 Year Club luncheon as a way to thank everyone who has 15 or more years! We will make sure post a milestone list with years of service and employee names so be on the lookout for more on this.
As mentioned above, we are always looking for a way to make your employment experience a great one – if you have ideas to add please reach out to your director or anyone in HR. You never know where the next idea will come from!
