Let’s Fill The Water Cooler/Bottle FCC

Now that you are establishing healthy eating habits by eating at least five servings of vegetables and/or fruits daily, take on FCC’s next challenge to drink the recommended daily amount of water.  Take the next challenge!

Let’s Fill The Water Cooler/Bottle FCC

An essential ingredient to good health is drinking at least eight 8oz. glasses of water throughout the day each day of the week.  Let’s take on the challenge to have all FCC employees make a healthy choice to reach this goal daily for 5 weeks.

From August 23rd until September 26th

Each day you drink your recommended daily amount of water (eight 8oz. glasses), fill out a glass or water drop:

  1. Write your name & date on the glass/water drop side
  2. Place your completed glass/water drop on the water bottle

You can monitor your intake of total # of ounces to compare how far (or how many) you will fill a water cooler which typically holds 5 gallons/640oz.

At the end of the 5 weeks, the total # of ounces/gallons consumed will be determined at each location as well as agency wide to determine how many water coolers we would fill.

Also at the end of the 5 weeks, every glass/water drop on the tracking board will be placed into a drawing to win 4 hours of vacation to be used at a time determined with supervisor’s input.  The following break-down will be used for the drawing:

  1. Hiawatha Hall & Rochester Employees
  2. Franklin Street Building Employees
  3. GVC/IHSS Employees
  4. Residential & Youth Home Employees
  5. Sparta, Viroqua & Black River Falls Employees
