A couple things have recently happened that we want to bring to everyone’s attention.
The courts have lifted the temporary ban on workplace vaccine and testing requirements. This means that we will soon be required by the rule to have a procedure in place and will release it on Tuesday, January 4. Our goal is to offer testing capability through the agency so we will incorporate that process in the procedure as well as what is needed to collect and confidentially store the required proof of vaccination.
In addition, the CDC announced that the isolation period for those who have had close contact with somebody testing positive can be reduced to 5 days if the person who had the close contact has been fully vaccinated. We will amend our protocol accordingly to reflect this change.
