TERM LIFE INSURANCE
What would your loved ones do without you? Term life insurance is an affordable way to leave them with money when you die. They can use it to help pay for housing and other expenses, including your final arrangements. Your plan includes an Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit, which pays more money if you die in a covered accident. If you survive a serious accident, it can pay you money for certain severe injuries, such as loss of vision, hearing and limbs.
Family & Children’s Center pays for Life and AD&D benefit for you equal to 1x your annual salary, up to $50,000.
Term Life insurance is provided to all employees who work 20 or more hours per week. The monthly premium is paid by Family & Children’s Center and the coverage is one times your annual salary.
VOLUNTARY LIFE INSURANCE
In addition to the base benefit Family & Children’s Center provides, you also have the option to purchase more coverage for yourself, as well as coverage for your spouse and/or children.
Voluntary life insurance is available to part and full-time staff at the time of hire and open enrollment period each September, with coverage effective October 1st. Insurance is provided by Mutual of Omaha which offers different packages of coverage.
